Three P’s of Presentation

I went on a 1-day course on presentation skills today. The course was structured in three parts: Preparation, Practice and Presentation. The speaker wanted to check beforehand whether any of us has heard of the so-called Three P‘s of Presentation.

"Making a presentation is about three P‘s, does anyone know what they are?"

(Silence. I wonder how she expects any answer from a question as vague as that.)

"Well, we know ‘Presentation’ is one, but what comes before ‘Presentation’?"

(A bit more silence before someone finally hesitated a guess.)

"PowerPoint Presentation?"
